About Badri

Named after the sacred shrine of Badrinath in Chamoli district - this Uttarakhand mountain breed thrives at 1,000-4,000m altitude. Milk is extraordinarily rich, legendary for the high-altitude Himalayan herbs in its diet. Badri ghee commands ₹3,000-5,000 per kg in Ayurvedic markets. Sacred to the Badrinath temple community.
