About Dangi
A compact, dark-colored breed native to the Dang district of southern Gujarat and adjoining Maharashtra. Adapted to heavy rainfall, dense forest terrain, and laterite soils. An excellent draught animal for paddy cultivation in waterlogged conditions. Highly disease-resistant.
