About Vechur
The world's smallest cattle breed by height (Guinness Record: 87cm), native to Kottayam, Kerala. Produces milk with extraordinary quality and therapeutic properties documented in Ayurveda. Nearly extinct in the 1980s, saved by Prof. Sosamma Iype of Kerala Agricultural University. Fewer than 3,000 remain.
